Privacy policy

Printed Plumbings is a free design tool that runs in your web browser. We built it so that your designs stay with you. This page explains, in plain language, what information is involved when you use the site.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising trackers. Your designs are never uploaded: all 3D geometry is generated on your own device, and exported files are created locally in your browser.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service of Google, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how long visits last, the referring website, the browser and device type, and the approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies whose names begin with _ga and processes your IP address; Google may handle this data on servers outside your country. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Brazil are asked first, and no analytics cookies are set unless they accept. Elsewhere, analytics runs by default. Anyone can turn it off at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the designer. We do not enable Google’s advertising features, and your designs and measurements are never part of this data. See Google’s privacy policy for details. We also record a few anonymous usage events, such as which part is opened, which file format is exported, the unit system and the chosen language, so we know which features matter. They never include your dimensions or your design.

What is stored on your device

To restore your work after a refresh, the site keeps your current design, settings and measurements, and your analytics choice, in your browser’s local storage. It also remembers your chosen language in a small cookie (pp_lang). This information never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Share links and project files

If you create a share link or download a project file, the design is encoded in that link or file. Anyone you give it to can open the design. We do not receive a copy.

Hosting

The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may use your approximate location to send you to your language version. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

Children

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.

Affiliate and tip links

When shopping links are shown in a hardware list, they lead to Amazon and include our associate tag. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your name, address or what else you buy; Amazon handles your visit under its own privacy policy.
